F5 Setup

When you select the F5 Setup option, the following screen will be displayed.

The cursor will be flashing under the 70 in the first line. You can amend any of these parameters simply by entering the number you require.

Printer Width

Number of characters across the printer width of the paper

Left Margin

Number of Characters for the Left Margin

Top Margin

Number of Lines for the Top Margin

Bottom Margin

Number of Lines for the Bottom Margin

Printer

Orientation of the Paper (Portrait or Landscape)

Page Length

Number of Lines down the Printable Page

Base Font

Standard Font to be used throughout the Document (Univers, Courier or Times Roman)

Point Size

Standard Font Size (pt) to be used throughout the Document

Portrait is the normal way of printing and is the same way this document is printed. Landscape is when the paper is turned on it’s side and printed on that way. So with Portrait  the printed paper is Narrow and Long, with Landscape it is Wide and Short.

Base Font. This is the sort of Type face used in printing.

There are 3 types available here – Univers,  Courier & Times Roman.
